| Dear ?????, This coming Thursday, you are invited to the book launch: Discovering Jerusalem's Secrets: Walking Through the Old City. For many, the maze of narrow streets in this jewel of a city can be daunting and the facades of buildings give little away about their history or occupants. This thoroughly researched book, offers 10 trails, with useful information on both the most famous sites and also on locations hitherto little-known except to local residents. The trails focus on the Old City, with a few outside the city walls. Join us for the presentation of this book with Dr. Yusuf al-Natsheh: An authority on the Old City's neighborhoods, streets and holy sites. This is a joint event between The bookshop and the Jerusalem Tourism Cluster. The event will take place at the Educational Bookshop function room, Thursday, March 16th - 6pm. On Friday afternoon, at 5pm. We are hosting Dr. Mads Gilbert, the Norwegian doctor renowned for treating civilians at Shifa hospital during the bombardment of Gaza during the war on the strip. He will be speaking about his books, his experience in Gaza, and everything in between.
