| Dear ?????, This coming Tuesday, you are invited to the book launch: Palestine Is Our Home: Voices of Loss, Courage and Steadfastness. Within these pages, Nahida Halabi wrote memories of Palestinians - housewives, pastors, physicians, prisoners, professors, refugees, researchers, students, teachers, and university administrators living either in Palestine, refugee camps, or exile - who have suffered loss and yet have kept their identity as Palestinians and through perseverance have kept their culture vibrant and alive. Join us to listen to author Nahida Halabi-Gordon read from her book, the event will be in the bookshop at 6:30 pm- Tuesday 21st March. On Friday afternoon, at 5pm. We are hosting Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish, the Palestinian doctor who lost thre of his daughters and his niece when the Israeli Army bombed his home in the Gaza Strip. He will be reading from his book: I Shall Not Hate: Journey on the Road to Peace and Human Dignity. Friday, at 5pm at the bookshop in Salah Eddin Street.
